Sheltie (2005)
The Sheltie, or Shetland Sheepdog, originated in the northern islands of Scotland. They were the crofter's working dog.
A smaller version of the Rough Coated Collie, it is a very loyal, intelligent and obedient breed. They make ideal family pets, being very good with children. Very good subjects for photography and portraits.
This little dog lives in China, the owner commissioned the portrait whilst visiting Nelson.
