I welcome Commissions in any of the types of artwork I do. There are many specific details to be considered for each commission but these are sorted out at the beginning, then I will give a quote for the work

For portraits of either People or Animals I usually work from photos. It helps if I am able to meet my subject, especially if doing a portrait of a person, but this is frequently not possible

When arranging for an animal portrait very clear indications of coat and eye colour are needed, because sometimes photographs can be quite misleading.

Portrait Backgrounds are usually:

• Blended Tones - part of the 'Basic' charge
• Vignette style - softly sketched views of the environment or other views of the animal,
  or
• Full Background - which normally relates to the animal's environment.
  There is an extra charge for the last two methods.

For Landscapes etc, I can either work from a photo provided or we can select from my own extensive collection of photos, or I can visit the site if that is possible to take sketches etc

With Fantasy paintings, I will work in closely with the client to reach an understanding of their requirements, and consult with them as work progresses

I can send emails with 'progressive stages' of the painting, if appropriate, especially with fantasy, and when the painting is done will send an email of the artwork for client to view.

Paintings are dispatched after payment is received and cleared.
