Pastels can be sold in or out of frame.
The best way for travel is out of frame, packaged flat with spacers to protect the artwork.
If an artwork is small then OK packed into a tube
Q: How do you frame your Oils?
- 'Oil on canvas frame' means canvas stretched over a wooden frame of either ¾″(≅19mm) or 1½″ (≅38mm) thickness with painting generally continuing around on a clean edge (no staples showing)
