Still Mapua Morning (2004)
A view from the causeway to the Mapua Leisure Park, across the little inlet, to Mapua Harbour.
Once a busy little coastal wharf, loading apples for shipping to the main centres, Mapua now has a much more leisurely pace.
The stillnes of the sheltered water imparts a sense of peace to the area.
