Little Kaiteriteri Beach is adjoining the main Kaiteriteri on the other side of a small headland.
One of the most beautiful holiday spots in the Nelson-Tasman area, golden sands, turquoise water, it is now
quite heavily developed with quality homes and baches.
This privately commissioned painting features in the foreground the decorative and now departed succulents that
successfully held the foreshore firm for many years. Their removal in 2007, to be replaced with a spinifex grass, is much lamented
by many residents of the area.
The two small islands and rocky outcrops at the eastern end of Little Kaiateriteri provide visual interest and scope for hours of fossicking or fishing.
