Tapu Bay is on the right when approaching Kaiteriteri from Motueka - take the Stevens Bay turn-off.
I had to be up bright and early to be in position when preparing for this painting.
Painted in Oils, I did several thin coats of paint to achieve the smooth blend of colour in the soft glow of the sky.
Tapu Bay is one of my favourite places.
